So, What Is CBD Or ‘Cannabidiol’?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of  85 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. The CBD oils and waxes, terpenes and isolates used by Well Zone ® come from commercially grown, organic hemp plants which are naturally high in CBD and extremely low in THC. CBD has no psycho-active effects like its sister THC has and will not make you drowsy or ‘high’.

And How Would It Work For Me?

We aren’t medically trained and so therefore aren’t at liberty to give medical advice on any products containing CBD. If you are looking to find out about the potential benefits of CBD we would recommend carrying out your own independent research – there is lots of information available online.

How Strong Are Your Products? Which Strength Should I Buy?

We express the strengths of our oils using a ‘percentage’ which is a representation of the amount of CBD there is per bottle. If you are used to looking at it from a MG per bottle point of view below is a handy chart to see the conversions;

2.5 % 10ml = 250mg per bottle

5% 10ml= 500mg per bottle

10% 10ml = 1000mg per bottle

20% 10ml= 2000mg per bottle

We can’t recommend a specific strength to start with however there is a lot of information online regarding this. If you still need guidance feel free to give us a call where we can walk it through with you, but please bear in mind that as we are not medically trained we cannot ‘prescribe’ a CBD Product to suit a specific condition.

Is CBD Legal?

CBD is totally legal in the UK. THC is still illegal in the UK and is a Class B Substance. None of our products contain THC- none of our products will cause any psychoactive affect.

Can I Use Your CBD E Liquids In My Current Vape Device?

What Is A “Tincture” And How Do I Use An Oral Cannabinoid Product?

Traditionally a tincture is a medicine made by dissolving a drug in alcohol. Our products use the modern definition of ‘a compound suspended in carrier oils to aid absorption’.

  Our organic hemp oil tinctures are oral products designed for sublingual absorption, meaning for use under the tongue.

      To absorb, simply drop under the tongue and hold for at least 90 seconds.

What Do The Tinctures Taste Like?

As we don’t flavour or sweeten our products sometimes they can taste strongly of an earthy, plant-like taste, and sometimes they can taste very mild. This is normal dependent on the batch and does not mean that the strength has changed.

Most people love the taste of our CBD but for some the strong plant-y taste can be a bit much. If you have bought some CBD but are struggling with the taste we recommend washing it down with a sweet drink, such as a fruit juice.

The Tinctures are designed to go underneath the tongue meaning the actual taste won’t be as apparent until you swallow it.

Can I Use A Tincture In A Vaporiser?

Oral oils and tinctures are not for use in electronic cigarettes and will damage your device. The same goes for the vape juice but the other way round – please don’t ingest our vape liquids!

What Is A “Cannabinoid”?

Cannabinoids are simply chemical compounds that act on cannabinoid receptors on cells that repress neurotransmitter release throughout the brain. The most well-known cannabinoids include CBD, THC, CBG, CBN and THCa. More recently CBDv has been studied however its properties are still very unknown.

We hand packaged our products in our small shop based in Bath. UK. We operate a strict quality control facility.

All of our CBD in a strict, lab environment and have our same passion for natural, non-adulterated products. They test every batch for us at their labs to make sure it always matches up to our high standards.

Who Runs The Well Zone?

  Well Zone team is extremely small and  have been working together for over 3 years. We are all real people with real passion for CBD and take pride in our great customer service.
